Despite the grip of the polar air that has assaluted the Northeast, my MCS (D.B.- in honor of ... well, you do the research if you're too old to remember the legend of D.B. Cooper) has been running fine, but is making some squeaking noises in the rear suspension/body areas. I have H-Sport springs and tubular rear sway bar.

Anyone else experiencing anything like this.

I have a slight creaking as well, along with what sounds like the belt squeeling on start up when the temp is really cold. Plus, the OBC display has issues refreshing in these kind of temps

I've got a similar thing going on, although it seems only to happen while I'm on the accelerator. I'm taking the car in Saturday to see if anything's up.

No problems. Even the door handle cable hasn't snapped again yet. Plus the car starts. Sometimes the window drops properly when I open the door. No belt squeaks yet.

Yeah, I'm hearing all sorts of groans and pops in agony too. It barely cranked this morning at -1 degrees. The heater fan was "on" from last night, WOW what a squealing howl it made when I started the car! I get some thuds from the suspension as well. It sounds like someone hitting the wheels with a mallet.
I enjoy the cold, but this is rediculous!
There is just no need for temps like this...
I moved to Cape Cod expecting relatively mild winters yeah right!

It's likely your swaybar bushings. I had this exact same peoblem.

The lube supplied with the swaybar tends to freeze at low temps, so I got some grease from Energy Suspension that is aupposed to stay gooey down to -80 degrees C, or something like that. Either way, it works.

Take a look at this thread.
I had a bad squeak ..that turned out to be the rear sway bar.
I loosened the sway bar...re-greased the bushings... and it's been fine... so far

Peace,
D
