Hey i burnt out my wiper motor on my cooper S on some ice, is there any other way to fix it without taking out or lowering the engine?

 

I don't think it's nearly that involved. The dealer replaced mine under warranty and it didn't take long at all. In fact, I think the wiper motor can be removed/replaced through the oval duct opening on the cowl panel between the hood and the windshield.

I'll post links if I can find specific instructions.

Thanks guys i called several dealers and they said that it would take on average 4.5 hours and cost me around $800-$950 price range because they wanted to take the engine out or lower it

 

Yeah replacing a wiper motor isn't a quick job. I keep new ones in stock cause we replace one every couple months.
