Code P2418, P2400. Where is canister?

Hi guys, I did a BMW fuel system cleaning, and threw a couple codes (P2418, P2400), and my Scan tool says that this is a Emission Evaporative System leak and electrical short. Now I took it back to my mechanic, and he couldn't find the carbon canister that absorbs fuel vapor. Does anyone know where it is on an R56 MCS/JCW?

Thanks in advance
Elie

Hey there, thanks for the prompt answer.

I just found out that Australian delivered cars don't have it from my mechanic, I was getting that error because of the latest map from Jan that I just installed while trying to get to the bottom of my car's issues.

Hope it works out. I am starting to be more weary of putting too many more things on the car as it seems to get progressively more finicky with each addition.

Thanks, me too...

I'm not going to be modifying the engine too much, too finicky (as you said). Probably will get water/meth and akrapovic downpipe (or similar)

Did some research of this becuase I have a similiar problem. It seems that euro spec Cooper S / JCW are missing the Leak diagnosis pump.

Here is a picture of US spec Cooper S

Oh I'm sorry, I forgot to post up that I fixed the problem, just loaded an earlier map of Jan's. Turns out you're exactly right, we don't have one, and I think Jan sent me a US spec map. He's been sending me 8 billion maps cos we're trying to diagnose an issue with my car.

Thanks for the response tho
