HELP! wont shift into gear. stranded on road.

Hey guys. Something just happened. All of a sudden I can't shift into ANY gear. I had to coast to a side street in some random neighborhood. The engine starts fine. I just can't shift to any gear. The clutch pedal has the same resistance (like before it happened).

Any thoughts? I think there is a Kragen/O'Reillys/Autozone down the road IF I need fluids or something.

Still under warranty? If so, you have roadside coverage too.

MINI picked up the vehicle and had it towed to the dealership this past Saturday.

today they called to tell me that the clutch is gone. flywheel, lining, etc...

WTF?!?

the car on has 46k miles on it. i'm the only driver and i've been driving clutches since i was 21.

i JUST searched for clutch-issue threads...oh boy. there are tons. i should've looked into this before buying my car. looks like Automatic was the way to go.......

oh...they said the clutch won't be covered under warranty.

this is bs.
