So i had the MCS in the shop to get some coolant issues taken care of and my axels replaced.

I noticed when i got it back from the shop that when in 2nd gear at low RPM's on a flat road. If im on the gas to get up to speed. for the first couple seconds, the car feels like its ..... I dont know how to explain it.....

Like if there was.... a cable to the throttle body.... and the engine had a broken mount.... and when i accelerate it would accelerate like the throttle body was attatched to a rubber band...

Giving it like a high frequency reaction during acceleration.. kinda like when you start too low in a gear and the car starts to jolt back and forth like that car is going to stahl........ BUT faster and more faint... you can bearly tell.. but for some reason the wife can feel it.. some times i feel it and then i think its the road... being choppy..

but then on flat ground.. no its the car... at the bottom of second gear....

what is that... is that normal? it never did that before... and our driving styles have not changed...

1st Did you replace them with MINI OEM axles? Or aftermarket axles? We've seen alot of problems with the cheap aftermarket axles.

2nd option is did the shop leave something loose??? Take it back and have them check.

 

They were replaced with MINI OEM Axles.

@SdarkcoopS - no im not joking... I think i know when something is different in the way my car drives... i know it sounds dumb but. its somthing i cant explain i guess. when i find out i will explain.
