Possible clutch problems

I have a '10 MCS, and the clutch I have now only has about 11K miles on it. Whenever I engage the clutch pedal, I feel a little click about halfway down the clutch. I don't know if this is normal or not, but it definitely was not there in the beginning. Is this a bad sign for my clutch?

not normal but probably not a problem with the clutch it self

#1 probability is a burr in the pedal mount

#2 a burr on the linkage

but this worries me: and the clutch I have now ....

has your clutch been replaced already

or is this just poor wording?

Good observation. I drove clutch #1 like a maniac, burnt it out after 6.6K miles. The clicking worries me partly because I have burnt one out so fast. Everything else seems to be normal at the moment though. When I ultimately burn this one out I'll probably install a stage 2 clutch so it's harder to wear when I beat on it

ummmmmm

I sold my Miata with 120,000 miles on the clutch - original clutch

I sold my 02 MINI with 98,000 on the clutch - original clutch

I have a Honda in the drive way with 100,000 on the original clutch

hint hint hint

if you are beating the car this hard . . .

Also might be of interest that I did learn how to drive stick on that original clutch. I'm sure part of the beating that it took was from the beginning, but I also do drive aggressively. Since I've replaced it, I have been babying it, but the clicking still worried me because of the driving style that I do have. Hopefully the clutch itself is still going strong

I have the same issue - about 19,000 on my 09 MCS. Not noticeable all the time but when I pay attention it is there.

Let me know if you figure anything out. I'm taking my car in for service and to get a hood scoop replaced on the 6th so I won't know anything until then.
