You could try e-mailing Pilo Racing at http://www.thepilo.com and see if he will overnight a set of wires to you. Click on "Products" on the site and you will see he sells wires and even a whole ignition system. He is a really great gut to deal with and maybe he can help you out?? Hope this helps........

Really strange. Where do you live? Florida? Someone once emailed me a photo of a Honda Accord which developed a popping noise under the hood. The owner drove to a service station, lifted open the hood and ..... found a 6 ft python inside which was killed probably from contact with the fan blade. The Animal Control people had to come and remove lthe reptile.

If you hav to replace your plug wirres, I've read very favorable review of Magnecor's products.

No dealer, 283 miles away. Supposed to leave in 6 hours... I went to the autostore, guy said wrap the **** out of it with elec tape and silicon. That should get me down there. He said a plug might foul if the impeadance gets to high, and told me to take an extra plug with me. Does randy usually have wires with him at the pulley parties? I know he was bringing the denso plugs. I really need a go no go on this one... Could I damage the electronics or engine by rigging this up?

Yes I live in FL and it appears to have been a squirrl....

well.. it just got better...

I looked and found a chewed section of my factory intake piping............................. It's on one of the ribs but there is a small gap that Im sure crap could/would/already has been sucked into. Now Im worried that my engine has been contaminated with sand or whatever. This is unbeliveable... Doesn anyone have a cell phone number for randy? Im so mad right now. With this new discovery of my intake pipe being damadged I think it would be unwise to travel 900 miles with a jury rigged intake, sparkplug wire, and GOD KNOWS WHAT THE HELL ELSE!

you could probably substitute; a chrysler neon plug wire...might be easier to find. duct tape the intake hose (you can replace it later) and hope for the best. Whatever your engine has consumed can't be changed now.

Whoa.....You are having a rough day.
I don't think the wire can cause any permanent problems. I'm surprised the parts place didn't sell you some wire and caps. If you insulate the heck out of it and the wire itself is not broken you should be OK
Your intake problem...is it before or after the filter? If it is before it,( the tube running underneath it all) then there is no problem...if it is after it...which sounds like it is. Tape the Hell out of it and maybe buy a intake off of Randy if he has any.

The pulley is the single most dramatic performance bang you can get...It'd be a shame to miss out over some damn squirrel

MrWhoa, tape everything up, electrical tape thr plug wire and duck tape the intake and GO.
Duck tape has held more race cars and bikes together than you can imagine.

MrWhoa, Your probably already on your way but, jIm had the best idea for plug wires. I'll bet the Neon wires will be a direct match. With regards to the intake, the cridders probably did both the wires and intake at about the same time so, it hasn't happened that long to do any damage to the motor. Tape up the hole and Motor On to the Party. With this story, you'll be the "Hit Of The Party".

Likely been mice or squirrels under your car. When you get back stop by a barber shop and ask for some hair from the trash. You put the hair under the car for a few days to keep the nesting critters away from your cars wiring. Dog or cat hair may help as well. You want the vermin to think a predator has taken up residence under or in your car. Good luck.

Sorry about the explantion points, I was very stressed.

I made it to the party without incident and had a GREAT time. Ive got tons of cool pics that Ill get to posting after Ive had some sleep. 3 hours of sleep, a car with a new pulley/ECU/Nology's/Denso's just added, and "following" your friends that are in another S that just got an ALTA/pulley/denso's, and lots of practice for the stunt scenes in Italian 2 Im spent.

BTW

The upgrades that I mentioned above plus a Pilo intake = A SERIOUSLY FUN car to drive and a TOTAL night and day difference. HOLY CRAP.
