I've read some post about rattles and noises within the car.
I've had my Mini for almost 5,100 miles an the only real complaint is the, "bee like" rattle within the car. Now that the weather has changed to a much colder degree, it's intesified, but my car/doors created a "swarm of bee sound." Is this the rattle others have complained about, because this is what I'm experiencing?
It seems to be created within the doors, because as soon as I lay my arm on the door beam (the door handle) it goes away on the drivers side (it effects both sides.)

This and the squeaky windows when put down in (hot climates/humidity) is the only problem I've had)

I'm searching to see if this is what other have experienced.

I had the dealer fix the rattles in the doors. They just put silicone sealer on the clips that hold the door panels on. It seems to have fixed the problem. Most of the rattles seem to be just parts that are not mating together well and cold weather does increase the problem.

Good Luck

These have been driving me CRAZY! I've got the same problem...and I've been to the dealer 4 times already. The driver's side door is pretty much OK, but the passenger's side is unstoppable! I'll have to let them know about the silicone...thanks!

By the way, at first they put a rubber gasket in each door lock...then needed to fix fasteners in the doors...not sure where the real problem lies...

I also had some Bees for a few thousand miles, but at
13,500, they are all gone.

Or maybe its the +8 degrees F that drove them out.
