Okay,
I'm too lazy to search for this, so it's probably out here somewhere. I hop in the car this morning, and hit the button to toggle over to the temp, only to find that the computer button is now controlling the windshield wipers. I double checked to make sure the wipers were off, and that I wasn't losing my mind. I even shut it down and restarted to just see if it would "remember" what it is supposed to do.

Any one have an idea?

I'm no car tech, but it could be a short or an induction problem where the control wires for the OBC switch and for the wipers are interfering with eachother. Does turning the wipers to different settings affect the OBC display?

It doesn't change anything on the display, but if the wipers are set to intermittent, pressing the button changes the speed to slow, and if the wipers are set to slow, pressing the button changes the speed to fast.

So two symptoms then, right? 1. If wipers are off, then the OBC button turns them on. 2. If wipers are already on, then pressing button toggles between low and high intermittant speeds.

Basically yes, but it only runs the wipers while I'm pressing the button. As soon as I let go, they stop. At first I thought I had left the wipers on, and that this was a function of the intermittent wipers, but from what I can tell, it's not right.
