Exhaust sound got really loud

Hi, I was driving home today and my stock exhaust made a small pop and suddenly sounded like a magnaflow. I am not sure what part of the exhaust system failed. Anyone had a similar experience?

I would guess the weld on the cat failed. Mine did that awhile back.
