Is this whirring noise normal? *VID*

edit: was the harmonic damper rubbing. replaced, all is well.

How many miles are on your mcs? I've heard this alot on higher mileage cars, i believe it usually turns out to be the blower.

pull the belt and fire it up for a short bit and see if noise gone . sounds like maybe a a.c or alt. bearing.
could even be idler or tensioner so you may want to use stethescope or hose on each pulley first to try and find it . then pull belt and spin each by hand feeling for bad bearing . may even be belt alignment issue .(worn on one side)

Just keep in mind that if you do this you have no water pump. So Only run it for like, 30 seconds to a minute if it is cold.
