HPFP,CEL,Clutchs problem.
Hi, i have posted some of my problems earlier on and i would like to do a conclusive solution which my dealer had solved for me. However there is still a problem not fixed nor do I know what is happening.
1.) Clutch grinding sound at Half clutch position when changing gear between 1st to 2nd Gear.
Solution: My dealer identified as the clutch problem. I heard something like, the biting plate is too far away from the clutch and overtime it damage the teeth. I think post 07 MCS will have such problem. Dealer changed the whole clutch + flywheel. The clutch is totally good and the feel is totally different. I think they upgraded it to a more recent clutch.
2.) CEL Light when I do a hard Rev, Immediately, the performance cut by 50%.
Solution: Identified as HPFP faulty. No question asked, changed for me and problem settled.
3.) Hard start, crank for longer then normal time to start and subsequently start but died off.
Solution: HPFP partially caused the problem. Also identified that Starter motor. Changed HPFP + Starter motor solves the problem.
4.) Now i have a major problem. When I hold down the accerelator, the engine Rev and I can hear a very bassy sound FROM THE ENGINE side. My car doesnt accelerate like it usually does. as the RPM climbs, the bassy growl goes louder but the car doesnt surge at all.
Solution: I dont have solution for this. Can anyone help on this?
