Tie Rod Ends, 03 vs. 05?

I am trying to replace tie rods and I see there are two different types.
Pictures are the same but! price isn't

I am just wondering what was changed from 03 to 03 and later.
If nothing major has been changed, i might as well just stick with 03 ones as they are more readily available around my area

BTW, My car is 05 July build

realoem shows the same part used from 05/2003 to 03/2007

I have also found that MINI/BMW like to change the part number for a new year without always changing the part itself.

Also note the pics on realoem can't be trusted for every part year to year.
