Brakes
I get that your brakes aren't working at random times, but what are you saying about the pedal? When the brakes fail to catch, does the pedal go all the way to the floor, or is the pedal impossible to press down?
No sure why you are pumping the pedals? To stop the car? To release it from binding?
If you feel the brakes are not stopping the car properly, bring your car in to the dealer immediately. It is really risky having bad brakes.

Is it stopping but the distances are longer than expected?

If your pedal gets frozen and can't be depressed, you don't have air in your brake lines, nor is it likely you are low on brake fluid. It sounds like you have something mechanically wrong, I would guess that the master cylinder is jamming, or one of it's valves is operating incorrectly. Please post what the dealer says here, I'd like to know if I'm anywhere near correct.
You're doing the right thing getting it to the dealer right away, this can be very dangerous.
