OK to drive (in rain) w/out A-pillar cover?

Had window replaced Monday, passenger cover flew off today and driver side is close to coming off. It is supposed to rain, and I don't want water getting in somewhere it shouldn't. Will it be ok to drive? On a side note, the glass company is replacing both sides for me free of charge.

if it were me, i would use a trash bag or something to cover over it.

why cause a possible problem that is solved with a trash bag and duct tape?

Duct tape may leave some sticky glue residue, especially if the sun comes out and heats it up.

Maybe some strips of electrical tape, (which is black, at least)?
