AC issues

Guys,

Sorry I have not been active and posted anything on this site since I joined. I have just not had any issues with my 2002 mini. I currently have 130k on it. Recently the AC stopped working. I have done all the diagnostics I know to do. It seems the compressor wants to kick in just no cold air. Any help will be appreciated. This car has been rock solid. Current upgrades are a 17 degree pulley, JCW cai, shift kit, and one ball conversioin. Thanks.

Chris

Not sure what you mean by "all the diagnostics", but perhaps your refrigerant is low? Seems to me that would be the only issue if your compressor is still working.

Check the green LED on the snowflake button. If its flashing you have a problem. have you ever had the vehicle recharged like Alerious said. 2002 is now 7 years old.

Pinched line or hose acting as an expansion valve and spraying refrigerant somewhere other than the evaporator??? Basics first, what are high and low pressures?
