Whenever I un-lock the passenger door, the stalk on the door jumps up and down several times before stoping in the "up" position. It doesn't seem to matter if I use the remote, the toggle in the center consol, or the key in the driver's door. It will always do it.
Does anyone have an idea of what could be going wrong. Is there something I can "reset". I would rather not have to take it to the dealer. The whole process is a pain in the butt.
This is very irritating. I only have 2K miles on the car.

 

I had a similar problem with the gas door filler lock. It went into a continuous cycling mode and killed the battery requiring roadside assistance. The drivers door power lock also gave up the ghost at the same time and would only lock or unlock with the key in the lock. It took me 14 days of the car waiting at the dealer for parts and three different visits to get the problem only partially fixed as my door locks now will only intermittently lock at 10 mph. I just had the actuator replaced on the gas tank filler door. I was on empty during the hurricane and there was a power loss at most gas stations, and I couldn't fill up my tank, and I was freaking out. Even the emergency release handle behind the service panel failed. Good luck!
