Does anyone have a chart showing when each version of the ECU software was installed during production for the type of MINI vehicle. An example would be similar to this:

Model Production Dates Software Version

MCS 3/02 - 10/02 31
11/02 - 5/03 33.1

Also does anyone know if the rear-fog light kit requires a specific software upgrade or will it work with all the softwares out there?

MGCMAN,
Great idea. All I can tell you is my mid May production MCS came loaded w/ 33.2.

Re: the rear foglight kit, I read somewhere it did require a software reprogram after the new switch panel is installed.

cheers

Exactly,

I have a 9/02 prod. MCS with 31 software. It is stumble and yo-yo free. I'd like to add the rear fog light switch, but only if it can be done with my present software. I have do desire to join the stumble thread posters, especially if its something that I brought on myself.

Still waiting for info on the production dates and software programs installed, Randy, Ryephile, Pebbles, anyone, anyone?
