HELP! cable question on install

I was in the process of replacing the battery for my 2003 Cooper and am not sure where a cable/connector goes. The cable in question comes from the DME control module. There are two big connectors on either side but then theres a small connector coming from the cable on the top connector closest to the fire wall. It was across the hold down strap and must of come loose when I removed the hold down. I see no place for it to connect to. Any help would be appreciated. It's a ten minute job to replace the battery but I'm spending an hours trying to figure out where this connector goes!

I called a MINI Tech and aked about this clip. He said it's used as a battery cut off switch when the car is being delivered. Once delivered it's not connected to anything so just ignore it. I hope this helps someone else who had the same question as me!
