My MCS hasn't logo on the engine
Hi MiniU4ia! There is a pic of the emblem, Post 10 on the first page if that helps!
don't know how i missed it.Is it the same as the one on the hood?
Point of thread was to add the logo for $40 and some time.
For forty bucks, I'll be happy with the 'clean' look.

(A Peugeot logo might be tempting
)
Link here to a thread on another board that starts with a photo of engine sans logo.

miniclubman:
According to the "Parts Content Information" on the window sticker (required by Department of Commerce), my 2009 MCSa has France as the "Country of Origin" for both the engine and transmission.
And there is a MINI logo on the engine (I took delivery 9/30/2008).

I followed the link. I don't see anything that mentions MINI engines built after 2006. They talk about the "new" MINI engines built in November, 2006. They never mention if they have shifted production after that date.
Please provide another link that indicates where the 2009 MCS engine is built. Until then, I'll rely on the window sticker. Thanks...
