Help with radio shut off!

Today I was installing a bazooka tube ( ) into the mini cooper S and my friend was helping. We got it all wired in and running and ran the remote lead to the F27 15 amp fuse which has the radio symbol. When the car turned off how ever it did not turn the amp on the sub off. So he switched it to F10, the 5 amp fuse tried to see if it worked and now the radio wont turn on at all. I unhooked the battery to see if that would reset the system with no luck. Any one have an idea as to what could of caused this and/or how to remedy it? Thanks

You need to use the antenna output from the radio, to turn the amp on/off (pin 15 I think)
If the radio isn't turning on now, sounds like you blew a fuse.

No.
The radio has two supplies, one is permanent and one turns on/off with ignition.
Even with ignition off, you can press the volume **** to turn the radio on - can you do this?
Even if the security is triggered (damaged Kbus wiring), the radio will come on, and display a message.

wow really weird. My buddy who is pretty knowledgable in audio and electronics came to mess with it and fixed it. He took the fuse out and turned it upside down and it fixed it. Flipped it back around again to see if itd work and again it did not. He nor i had ever heard or seen this, just a weird quirk i guess.
