Something is not right

I have some issues, maybe I am paranoid, but the car just does not feel right. Here is what I have problems with, please note all of these started around the same time.

1. When slowly going up a driveway at an angle, or leaving a driveway as the back goes over the lip/curve of the driveway one of the front wheels makes a creaking sound (almost grinding sound). Coming from either the shock/spring, control arms or something in that area. I have king springs which just give me a 1" drop front and rear, but the wheels dont appear to rub.

2. When shifting from 4th to 3rd, but mainly 3rd to 2nd gear the clutch feels a bit rough. There are no noises at all, but the feel just cant be right. I let it out slowly (but not burning it out) and it isn't smooth, feels lumpy, grindy. (FYI, I am not heel and toeing or anything, just casual driving)

3. The feel of the gear shift varies... some times 2nd to 3rd is smooth, sometimes its rough. Note: same rpm (2500), same speed, straight line. What I am talking about is when I physically move the gear ***, its rough. Putting the car in neutral with the clutch out smooths it out again.

4. When braking occasionally i get this weird feeling that I am braking with pebbles between the pad and the disc. No other way to describe it No noises, just not smooth, and I checked the pads and they seem to have plenty of life yet.

Thanks guys. Tell me if I should stop worrying. I have been wearing shoes lately while driving (black pumas), and recently have been going barefoot occasionally. However even so, the switch from shoes to barefoot still shouldn't make these things noticeable.

It might be one of the CV joints. Does it make the sound under normal conditions on the street?

Was this when you are barefoot? I'm not sure why it would be rough, but I can guess that the transmission does not like non-revmatched downshifting.

A few of the 3rd gear syncros might have worn or damaged teeth. That might also be the cause of the 4th to 3rd roughness. 2nd might have worn or damaged syncros as well.

I wouldn't worry about this. My transmission has it's quirks too. Sometimes I can't shift into 2nd under full load. Although it is rare.

I get number 3 going from 1st to second sometimes, been doing it for the last 8k miles (keep in mind I only have 23k) and even autocross her, so far nothing bad has happened (fingers crossed).

Ok. Drove to the city today (100km round trip).

Number 1 Only happened when I pulled into and out of my driveway, and I think over a massive speed pump at low speed. Other than that nothing.

Number 2 and 4 did not occur at all... I was wearing shoes. So i think I am crazy.

Number 3 did not happen much, if at all.

Thanks guys , I think ill let the last 3 points do their thing. Its hardly noticeable and is probably just normal. As to number 1, Ill take it to a tyre shop and get the suspension checked. I've got a feeling the spring is rubbing on the inside wheel well.
