I have a 2002 non s copper. I thought my injector number one went out it wasn't getting any power so i figure it was dead. I swap out the injector today. Found out that the injector wasn't bad. I check for power where the plug was it wasn't getting any ground. Anybody have any idea where the short might be or has ever ran in to this problem???

 

the injector fires directly from the ECU, so you can test the points on the ECU harness. If it's not there, then the ECU is toast (it has high current transistors to drive each injector). If it's working there, you have an open in the wiring harness.
