Homelink Problem... HELP!!!

I picked up my Mini (Moondoggie) last night and I can't get the Homelink to work. I have read all the manuals and have done what they have said. Even when resetting it, after holding the 1st and 3rd buttons down for at least 25 seconds, the LED on the mirror never blinks. No matter what I do, I can't get the LED to blink at all. Yes, I have the car running.... Any ideas?

Homelink prob

I had to program it with the learn button on my garage door opener unit (not the remote) while I had someone do the the Homelink buttons. Worked like a charm.

this worked for me.press the training button on over head garage motor. then press the homelink button in car for 2 seconds. it should work. if not go to www.homelink.com for a video to show how to program.

call homelink directly. they will walk you through it on the phone while your in the car. make sure you can reach your garage door opener.

Is your car on? Unlike every other car I've owned, it doesn't work unless the car is on, which is kind of silly considering that I'm expected to have the car running in the garage in order to use it.
