AC is busted Need help Locating Sensors...

My wife's MC has the auto climate system, the AC worked just fine up until memorial day when it stopped blowing cold. I searched around on this site and found some threads saying it may have low R134 so i bought a can hooked it up and nothing.

It appears that the compressor is not turning on at all so the system wont pull the R134 into the system....

Question is does anyone know where the Condensor and the Low Pressure switch are located? I need to test the Switch and jump the sensor so i can pull the R134 into the system and see if its just low or if the switch is actually bad.

Sucks... but at least its not 110 outside yet...

Obvious question but did you check the fuse/relay for the AC? They are both under the dash where the fuse panel is as well as inside the engine bay next to the ECU.

I understand what you are saying...it would be that, "hooking up a can", and properly diagnosing a problem are 2 very different things. I think it is noble when someone does research and tries to fix something thereselves, but AC systems can be very dangerous, especially when charging with a can(which can explode) if pressure is introduced to it.

Check fuses and then...

First thing I would do is to get a set of gauges hooked up and actually look at the pressures....Are they low?
Second, if the pressures were ok, is to check for 12v at the compressor.

Then start looking at relays, etc...
