The clunker
The clunker
So a few weeks ago I had my 03 MCS at the dealer for the clunking suspension and they said both strut mounts and LCA bushings were bad.
Later that week I had the strut mounts replaced and PowerFlex LCA bushings installed. And I'm still getting clunking. It happens when my drivers side goes over a small dip such as man hole cover but seems to do it on the right side as well. To be honest, I can't tell if its from the front or back, but I feel like its most likely the front. Any thing I should check?

I have a clunk too!!! :( (rear-left side) only when i go thru a bump or hole... specially with load on the car... i thought it was due to a bad strut, so i replaced all of them, but the clunk still there, but now i dont get it that easily... could it be the trailing arm or...?
Sorry for the highjack.. but since my problem was almost the same as yours i decided to just add my question to your thread

You could have bad tie rod ends, bad ball joint in the forward end of the LCA, bad sway bar links or bushings, or bad steering rack mount bushings. Other causes can be bad motor mounts, especially if the driver's side mount goes bad. That mount is very large, and a 'pop' in the pavement like you describe can bump the engine/trans enough that if the mount is bad or loose, you'd hear it.
Have you tried cleaning out your trunk and making sure everything is bolted down? Battery, spare tire, that pack of golf ***** you lost and fell down below the seats?
Probably still suspension but there's nothing like spending an hour tracking down that rattle only to remember that you put a hand full of change in your cup holder, not that I would know about that or anything...
