Another weird sound issue

I have a sort of rattling that is coming from the scoop of the car. Can really hear it coming out of the scoop. When the engine is idle and the car is just sitting there it is a rattling that would almost sound like it is a fan or the supercharger running with bad bearings but it much louder than I have ever heard. Then also you can only hear it a little bit from inside of the car. I am afraid that it is the supercharger. I have an 04 mcs. Anyone have a similar problem?

How many miles? Could be the water pump gears if you are starting to get near 100k.

Sorry about the long wait, i have been moving from one placve to another. Anyways, I only have about 51,000 miles on it. So I would hope that I can be avoiding some potential problems with that. I will have to have someone depress teh clutch and listen to it from teh outside in order to check if it is the clutch. I will upload a video later on it, and maybe someone can identify the sound? Thanks for the help.

I had someone depress teh clutch and I listened to the noise from the outside. There was no change. The sound gets worse as the rpm increases. IT sounds like bad bearings. This makes me feel like it is the supercharger. I think I am going to take it in and get it looked at.

I think it´s the same noise addressed in this thread :

https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...t=74674&page=7

...and very similar to the noise that mine does :
