Horn Blows When Turning Right

R56, 02/07 Mfg Date. Ordered car with Wood Steering Wheel. It was delivered without the wood wheel. Dealer replaced the wheel 3 months later. On occasion when making hard right turns the horn will blow. Dealer "inspected" and could not "duplicate" so no fix. I think "duplicate" is synomous with "duh". Now, the horn blows with almost every right turn.
What is up with that? Any similar experiences and dealer fixes?

So don't turn right unless someone is in your way................

So take it back now that the problem is more consistent.

Figure out ways to get home by only using left turns?

The cable harness in the steering shaft is rubbing and shorting out. Better get it looked at, asap.

Thanks DJam.
I sent your reply to my SA to see what he thinks.

As for the other replies, I tried making all left turns to get home but ran out of gas 350 miles later

I love the humor of this place but I could really use some more ideas.

Mine started randomly honking. Took it to the dealer. It was just a short. No problems since.

I felt bad for pedestrians though. They thought I was honking at them for trying to cross the street. I just held my hands in the air and pointed at the car.

Car to dealer yesterday. Steering column taken apart and sure enough, wiring harness pin connectors NG. Wiring shorted out as harness moved in turns. No more honking at just anybody. Now I can concentrate just on making somebody really mad.

If you were in Boston, you would always be honking, cause you CAN'T TURN LEFT...you must make 3 right turns to go left....

Seriously, good luck on getting it fixed. Let us know.
