I unfortunately filled my gas tank w/ the engine running...
Yeah I know....I'm not supposed to do it.

Here's my problem...
The guage shows empty and I know there's a full tank.
The needle won't budge

I've let the car sit ...
I've started it about a dozen times...

Anyone come accross this issues ???
Anyone have a solution??????

Thanks in advance

Peace,
D

My wife has the car and the manual or I would look it up. There should be a reset function either with the key or computer. Did you look in the manual for such a thing?

Problem Sol-VED
-I spoke to Randy ..and he gave me the idea of diconnecting the battery ...unfortunately that was not the answer...

He added that the car's ecu probably had to go thru ...."x" amount of re-cycles.....before it would reset this gas guage mis-read.

***hmmm (light-bulb goes-on!!!)***
Let me start and stop the car ...a bazillion times....and see what happens...

Unscientific as it was...after 26 times(of starting and stopping the engine).... the gas guage.....now registers!!!!

Kewl

Peace,
D
