This was really strange...

I went to park my car, and I know that my car has been mildly surging at idle. However, this time around in the parking lot at my local Target, the engine surged from 1000 rpm to 500 rpm, then down to nearly nothing, then back up and down, then it shut off.

Why would it be doing this? Could this be related to the ignition wires and/or spark plugs? I'm at a total loss here, and the wires I put on a few months ago are the only modifications i've installed minus the ITG drop-in air filter.

Any opinions are welcomed please help me!!!

 

Sounds like a vacuum leak or an ignition problem. I would put the stock plugs and wires in and see if the surge goes away.

I believe that this did fix my problem! I'm gonna go test it out though just in case on a drive today!
