Anyone with experience in CA with having MINI either offer a new vehicle in trade or buy back due to numerous problems? My early-build 07 MCS is in for its third clutch/flywheel in one year. The car just turned 10,150 miles. There have been other little things that have been taken care of, but this one scares me. I reported my desire for a different vehicle to MINI USA, and they said they'll investigate service records and get back to me within 48 hours. The dealer is having a someone higher up from MINI look at the flywheel while it's out.
I'm also having them look at the cold start rattle, but it happens fairly infrequently, so my guess is it won't be happening when I need it to: at the shop.
Can anyone share what their experience has been in dealing with MINI over something like this in CA? What do I have to look forward to?
