i was replacing my girl friend's Corolla head lights today. in order to get to the bulb, i had to take the battery out. ok, when i got it done, put the battery back, damn! i forgot that the car has alarm installed. so when i connect the battery, the alarm goes off, can't start the engine because of it. what should i do to get it work out??
i don't know where or how to kill the alarm, or should i even do that? please tell me what to do next?

Get the remote key for the alarm system handy- the key that arms the alarm.
Reattach the car battery to the terminals. The alarm goes off.
Disarm the remote system with the alarm key.
The doors and trunk are unlocked at the same time.
The LED (if any) will go out.
Have fun. Tell your girlfriend I said Aloha.
Almost everybody else in the US is sleeping right now.
