Blow off Valve or Me?
I have been doing some rather spirited driving and during some down shifting\breaking\hard turning\acceleration moves i hear a winning noise that i only can think is the turbo. I checked on some of the past treads and it doesn't seem like the stock bov is up to par to handle this sort of back flow or is it just me? Some one tell me is it my technique that needs tunning or is it really the machine? Either one how do i correct the problem?

Brandon, I have some interesting noises from my car when I downshift into a corner and use engine braking going in. I will listen again to see if I think it could be blow off. I don't think so in my case because it occurs only when in a turn.
In my case, I think it is a complaint from the limited slip, which is being forced to slip in a deceleration rather than an acceleration. The sound isn't pretty, but when you want to dowshift, decelerate and turn, what's a guy to do?

Think about your case. If it doesn't occur unless you are in a turn, how could it have to do with the turbo? The blow off valve would have to do the same trick in a straight line down shift too.
