ScanGauge, codes, help me help myself
ScanGauge, codes, help me help myself
I installed a rear sway bar and shortly thereafter I've consistenly gotten what I refer to as the holy trinity of warning lights. Brakes, then ASC, and finally Flat Tire. I'm guessing it's a problem with a rear wheel sensor (used for ABS & flat tire sensor), but I'd like to determine which side is out without guessing and replacing one. I purchased a Scangauge, but it shows no code, even though the car now gives me the Trinity right at startup.
Can anyone give insight about making Scangauge look harder, or assuming that this is not an OBDII code, does anyone know a command to send to the ECU to get the ECU to let me know what's going on. Or alternatively, anyone know how to easily determine which side's hosed. I suppose my next step will be to ask the dealer to read check for codes.

Wanted to follow up. Took it to dealer. They pulled all 4 wheels and inspected brakes. Decided it was LOW BRAKE FLUID due to pad wear. Instead of showing a brake fluid light or a single brake icon, you get the Disney light show. So be warned, when your brakes wear, you'll likely get this triple warning.
Thanks very much for letting us know the outcome. Geez, that sure wins the grand prize for 'unintuitive diagnostic'. Is that documented somewhere, at least for the service departments? I'm bookmarking this thread.
