Increased Emissions? Hmmmm....

So I'm crusing along today, and go to pass someone who's doing 35 in a 50, and in the left hand lane, and notice, I have ZERO power. It was worse than a regular cooper (No offence you Cooper drivers, hehe)

Then the Emissions light comes on above my nav screen (picture attached) and says at the bottom, Increased Emissions.

Anyone know what this is, how much it may cost to have fixed, and if damage has been done....

Thanks

Let me know if you need another picture of the service info screen, on the nav system, which details the error.

Your OBD2 computer (The chip in the car) threw a check engine code. Your dealer can read the code and tell you what it is. Or you can hook up your own reader but hey, its under warranty.

Best O Luck

Check the cold side of the boost tubing on ther passenger side going to the silencer. Sounds like you have no boost due to an improper seal. I had my boost tube disconnect and experienced the same code and loss of power.

SDMike, what are you doing messing with the boost tubes on Deacon, he is not a week old.

You already checking out how easy it is going to be for mods?

Sorry folks, I've been moving in to my new house, so I haven't really had time to update

On Monday I woke up to take Howard Hughes, (lol), to the dealership, and the code was gone... and hasn't come back.

I'm thinking maybe the turbo charget got hot?

Might have better luck getting the SA to do it. MA's probably don't know how to
