I have about 600 miles on my MCS auto and last night just noticed a rough idle after driving it for 20-30 min. This happened both on the way to and from dinner. I brought my car down for service and the service dept just called saying they can't find anything wrong with the car. Has anyone else experienced this?
By rough idle I mean the rpm's are ebbing while I'm stopped at a light. And I hear noises from the engine as if it is revving.

 

Yes. I have a 2 day old MCS that has it; my BMW 330Ci also had it. I do believe it's a mark of BMW type vehicles. In a way, I was happy to hear it on the mini (nostalgic).

 

Give your cars a chance to break-in.

 

I have a MY05 with the same issue every now and then. I think it's a common problem - but it has never stalled on me .. yet.
