Window rattle
Window rattle
At 3500 miles, the my driver side window has started rattling when I am on a bumpy surface. I'm pretty sure it is the glass moving against the rubber strip that seals it along the top edge.
Unfortunately, I think I may have accidentally caused this, I was wiping down the interior with a mild cleaner (general cleaner, not armor-all or something slick like that) on a cloth and noticed a lot of dust on the rubber and so I ran the cloth around the rubber once. I could be wrong, but it seems like that is when it started rattling. Maybe the rubber is too slick now?
Am I nuts or was this a coincidence? Is there something I can try on the rubber? Is this something the dealer can adjust?
It's starting to drive me nuts, any advice would be appreciated.
