Why did my flat tire light come on?? O.o

(warning...LONG story..thanks in advanced for taking your time to read )

im puttin this in the stock problems/issues part of the forums cause my problem has nothing to do with aftermarket parts.

OK..so here's the story. i was driving out of my church when all of a sudden i hear some metal clanking sounds in the passenger side boot area. my seats down with my guitar in the back. it def wasn't the guitar but sounded like it came from the wheel well or something?
so i was like WTF? and didnt hear anything afterwards so let it sly. when all of a sudden i notice that my flat tire warning light comes on..so once i get to my destination i get out my car and check my tires. everything seems fine to me.
i get back in my car a couple minutes later and find that the light is now off?
so im confused. is something wrong with one of my tires or wat?
(and i must add..i rotated my tires the day before..from front to back and vice versa..) and yes. i checked all the lugs. made sure they were all tight.
so while driving some more i didnt notice anything wrong....that is...until i get off the highway on the loooooong circle exits. i cant help it but i like to go fast on the corners and ALL of a sudden i hear wat sounds like a bolt or some metal piece hittin under my car..it's a very hard sound to describe. and hard to tell where it was. i just heard something.
so i pull over on the side of the road and check under my car and check my tires once again. i see nothing out of the ordinary. (and the flat tire light isnt on either)

so...anyone else had an experience somewhat close to this? i wanted to post here and hear everyone's comments. cause i dont want to call mini cause i have absolutely NO CLUE watsoever wat happened. or wat's wrong...

thanks for your input guys

Maybe something got stuck into the inner sidewall of the tire? I would definitely remove the rear wheels and do an inspection before driving it anymore.

well someone else made a thread in another section of the forums and basically the same problem. probably just the air being different in the tires. O.o gotta add some air to them as soon as i get a chance.

Any time that you do anything to the tires(adjust pressures, rotate, replace) you must reinitialize your TPM. It looks at wheel speed rotation, and if your front tires were more worn that your backs, then they will spin faster than the tires that were previously in that location. The DSC/ASC/ABS control unit will see this and set a fault in the system.

Check your air pressure. Sounds like a rim might be scraping the asphalt when you get into the turn hard. One of your runflats may have gone flat (if you have them) and you can't tell if they're flat just by looking at them, especially on 17" tires.
