I might be interested in this--of course, I live in Dexter so it isn't that long of a trip for me to attend.

This could be an interesting trip for the MINIs since there are some really nice twisty roads in your area.

 

I plan to have a car show and poker run in Oct. of this year. It will be in Oct. on a Saturday and will consist of a car show that we can show off our mini's and then a poker run that will let us drive on some fun roads. We will have trophies and prize money so keep looking for more on this as the weeks go buy it looks as tho the date will be Oct. 14th. so try and plan on this.
I hope to get this on the event calender.

I haven't been on a poker run before, I know I live a sheltered life. What goes on as to the run? I'll be ordering another MINI in June and hope to have GUnner's replacement in by the end of July. We are hoping to make it to MITM in Aug and this run would be great to add to our adventures for this year in the new Gunner II.

This sounds like a lot of fun, I hope it doesn't conflict with my 2nd trip down to the dragon. I would love to do both.

 

I have a friend who goes on a lot of Poker Runs on his motorcycle, and I think you have a course you run with several stops. At each stop you are "dealt" a card. When you finish the course, whoever has the best poker hand wins the Poker Run.

 

MISAKA is correct. We will cover some 80 miles more of less and make five (5) stops and different stores. At that time you can buy a soda or something if you wish and you will draw a card and this will be recorded on a form you will get at sign-up. Then you will follow the map and go to the next stop and this goes on for five stops. The best hands will win, we will have three (3) places so you can have more then one chance to win. It allows you to show off your mc andhave a great day with others. We will start the day with a car show so we can let the folks see what we have, even tho the mc's are very much alike it is a time to visit with others and intro others to the mc way of life. A good time will be had by all.

A poker run in the Fall in Missouri sounds like a great idea. I will have to tentatively say yes - depends on the stupid work schedule that keeps interfering with my fun times in the Cooper.

 

This really sounds great and I hope to have Gunner II by then to make the run, depending on work schedule too.

 

I saw your flyer at Mini of St. L (at least at the repair shop) today.... sounds interesting!
