Autohaus Body Shop?

Last night my son and I were on our way back home from the St. Louis Auto Show and had stopped for gas. It was pouring rain and we were stopped at a light on an overpass over I-55 waiting for a green to get on the interstate. A tractor-trailer turned in front of us onto the overpass but did not turn wide enough and his rear trailer tire clipped the front end, denting my hood, scraping my bumper and pushing me into the car behind where we both hit and cracked bumpers. Could have been worse considering it was a semi!!

Anyway, all this is to ask if anyone does or does not recommend the body shop at Autohaus. I bought the car at Roadshow in Memphis but have used the service dept. more at Autohaus (where I know it has gotten a lot better, recently). I hadn't heard anything about the body shop though. Any comments?

Hi,

I haven't had any body work done but I had the entire top & rear windows of my Cabrio replaced in September. The work was done at the bodyshop. They did an excellent job. A previous annoying rattle in the top is now gone. The top looks great and I have no furthur scratches on the windows. How are you doing? I don't know if you knew or not, but I replaced Louie with Sunnie my Cabrio in October of 2004. She came from Roadshow simply because of the markup on Cabrios at MINI of St Louis.

Autohaus body shop

I had them replace my front bummer of my Aero kit about a year ago. They did excellent work and I would reccomend them.

I was rear ended in Dec. 2004 in my 2003 MCS and the guy pushed me into the car in front of me and that car into the car ahead of him. It was a four car pile up. The car was towed to Autohaus. They fixed the car beautifully. They had to replace the front and rear bumpers, replace one rear tail light, and fix the rear hatch. The car looked great. It took them over 1 month to fix it though!
