Great Rallye!

Congrats to Paul for putting together a very, very fun run.

We had a good turnout and perfect weather. What a way to spend a day!

I'm also glad Tony Jones could make it and a big thanks out to him for providing the gift certificates!

We're already looking forward to the next event!

Wish I could have made it! The weather was perfect for driving, but it was also perfect for flying. I got my Multi-Engine rating done which I have been working on for awhile, so it was a productive day. Glad everyone had a great time; great job Paul!

Looking forward to the next event...

Aaron

We had a great time also, even though we had to shortcut the course

I should have worked on building my sons' motoring endurance prior to the Rallye -- we were late leaving Washington, and then my navigator failed me with a wrong turn. Alas, as we tried to catch the pack we enjoyed some high speed twisties between Washington and Hermann! Anyway, we shortcut to Hermann hoping to catch the pack, then the kids melted down and we had lunch in the park at Highway 100 and Highway 19.... the best part of the day was watching all of you come through that intersection, the other people in the park were like "what the heck is that" and then we had all kinds of people asking about the car. Also made friends with some retired Honda Gold Wing riders at a gas station (they were doing a group ride out there) who had lots of questions about the "cute little cars."

If we don't have the kids ready for the next rallye, maybe we'll send them to Camp Grandma I enjoyed meeting everyone!

Sorry to hear about you car, Mike. What's the outcome?

I enjoyed every moment of the event - the weather/green grass, the people and the roads! Well worth the trip from Minnesota. Thank you for oganizing and planning such a great event once again. See you at the next event.

88,500 wonderful miles and counting...

Later,
Val

turns out it was the dreaded '02 power steering fuse problem.

the fan gets stuck, then blows a fuse. the coolant fan is also on the same fuse so it stopped... voila! overheated MINI! this is actually the second time that this has happened to squirt.

this time, they replaced the wiring harness so that the fans are on different fuses. happily, it was all covered under warranty. i got the car back monday afternoon.
