Put me down for tentative for now, I may have to take my Multi-Engine checkride that day. Thanks!

I take my Multi-Engine checkride that day, and it's the only time I can do it, so I won't be there. Sorry I'll miss all the fun! :-(

Have a great time everyone!

How to get there ...

I wasn't on the Spring Rallye last year ...

heading west on 40 looks like we take the 94 south exit? Is it then pretty obvious how to get to the "Park n Ride"? Thanks!

(Our 6 year old is coming along for the "roller coaster ride" )

Heading west on 40 across the bridge, you'll see the park n' ride on your left hand side as you exit the highway.

Glad to hear there will be other kiddos along for the ride. My 4 1/2 year old thinks his mom drives a race car

We'll also have our two month old, proving it really IS a family car.

WOW! What a beautiful day for the Rallye! Thanks to Paul for organizing it and choosing such great roads! And thanks to Tony Jones from MINI of St. Louis for bringing prize to raffle to the gang. Congratulations Lois and Brian for winning the $50 gift certificates.

My MINI was just fine throughout the entire day. Ran like a champ. However, about 2 minutes from my house, all of sudden, steam started coming out of Squirts hood. I glanced down to my gauges and the my car was totally over heated. I happen to be in a parking lot at the time so I was able to turn the car off and call Roadside Assistance. Looks like I blew a hose or something. The tow truck came in about 25 minutes and fortunately I was really close to home. And, on top of that, the tow truck that came matched the Liquid Yellow color of my MINI! Good thing. I would have sent him back if they would have sent a Chili Red tow truck.

Well you guys did it again! Thank you very much for your hard work and thank you to MINI of St Louis for the great prize. Now the hard part, what to spend it on ...

Mike, sorry to hear about the troubles, hope you get it back soon in better than new condition.

BTW, who was behind me when I got tail happy and ended up sideways in the road before lunch?

It was great fun today! What a perfect way to break in my new MINI, eh? It was nice meeting some of the members and seeing all the sweet rides. I just wish I didn't live so far south, lol. Put a hair under 500 miles on Zooty today by the time we pulled in home.

And Mike Hope nothing is too seriously wrong with your beautiful yellow MINI. Steam coming out of a car's hood is a bit scary, heh.

Great Job

WE ALL KNOW PAUL IS THE MASTER RALLYE MASTER, What a great ride, and he must have some pull with the weather forecasters too. Paul, thanks again for an excellent day.
Mike, at least it didn't happen out on the rallye road.
And a moment of silence for the deer.

Motoring off to Europe, .

What A Nice Ride

I had a wonderful day on my first drive with you all. The only thing missing for me, was that I hoped to hook up with Aaron again, I haven't seen him since I met him at the MINI shop and he talked me into joining his club. I hope to see you all again real soon.

A New MINI Friend,
Lady Di

I agree with Doug (ZINFUL), Paul (LACLEDE) is THE MASTER RALLYE MASTER.
Not to mention is amazing control of the weather as well. Awesome event, how can this man not be our new president.

Mike (STLMINI), sorry to here about Squirt. Still great luck that you got practically all the way home though.

Let's give many kudos to Tony for being part of our event, and the gift certificates were awesome, even though I didn't win.

I hope to see you all at the meeting tomorrow.

ANOTHER GREAT RUN!

I had a great time driving with you guys; even though I had a fever from a lingering sinus infection, and had to split for Columbia after lunch; it was well worth the long drive from Wisconsin to take part in your rallye.

D'oh! a deer!

Another great Rallye. Thanks, Paul

We all had a great time. Even our daughter, who started off the day meeting 'Abby' (?) the yellow lab; she made a new friend. Although she had a little mishap in the back seat because of all the twistys we got things cleaned up at lunch and bought her some fresh clothes and she was back in high spirits.

Oh, and we had a nice entomology lesson yesterday as we tried to identify the various things plastered to the front of the MINI, on its radiator, intercooler .....
