A Very Merry MINI Christmas

Good ol' Santa Claus treated Felix well! He got a set of rubber floor mats, some wax, and some wheel cleaner for Christmas. Felix's owner (aka "Me") received a RC car MINI Cooper -- a CR/W MC no less!

How did other MINIs/Owners do this year in the greater St. Louis region?

I received an "Italian Job" t-shirt and a glove box organizer is in the mail. Also a fumotovalve "for easier oil changes".

Ariel and I must have been very good girls this year, because Santa was VERY good to us. I got a red "Union Jack Polo" shirt. Hubby made me an awesome magnetic board to display all of my Rallye Placard's and MINI paraphernalia on. He cut a sheet of plywood in half (so the total dimensions of it are 4'x4'). He stained it a very pretty shade of blue that is VERY close to Indi Blue, if not exact. He affixed an offical MINI wings and "Cooper S" emblem to the top and center. About 6 inches in from all of the edges, he attached white trim and then attached the sheet metal to the inside of the trim. It's AWESOME!!! He made it to put out in the garage, but I think it's too nice to go out there, so it's still sitting inside where I can admire it everyday. I also got the NAM calendar. Very nice! Ariel got a glove box organizer and a whole box full of more Zaino supplies. (Her supply was diminishing very quickly.) With all of these nice temperatures we have had lately, she's been begging me to give her a bath with all of the new Zaino she got, but it's dark by the time we get home.

I hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas and has a Happy Safe Motorin' New Year!

Lois, I would be interested in one of the cargo nets. And what is some of the other stuff?

Hey, are you going to retire your screen name too and register a new one "SunniefromStLou?"

1. I got my new 2005 S, biggest Xmas present ever for me to myself! Words can't describe how much I enjoy driving it!

2. I got three Matchbox MINI cars and a shorty antenea (sic) for FLASH2.

3. It was a Ferrari Xmas in our family. I got my Dad an F2004 1/18th model. He got me a Ferrari xmas ornament and an F360 Challenge Stradale 1/18th model, and I got my Mom a Ferrari shirt to wear to the USGP this year!

I visited lots of friends over the holidays and have already put 1300 miles on FLASH2. I had a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday!

Mini Cooper Christmas

To my surprise on Christmas morning My wife Sue got me a Mini Cooper slot car racing set. It's a 1:43 scale, has 20 ft. of track, and came with 2 Mini Cooper S. One is Indie Blue and the other is Chili Red. You can guess which one I get. Now if only I can find a Works Kit in 1:43 scale I'll have it made.
