Perhaps a little early but......

The thought of rocketing down a back country road in the Rockies has got me stoked! You?

I'm planning to attend this event and wanted to see if any of the rest of you might be interested in joining up to caravan out/back some/part

My sketch right now is to roll outta st. louie Sat 8/1. I've done the Denver drive in one sitting and it is a death march so I will grab a hotel somewhere in Kansas and split it into two days

Monday and Tues planning a motoring photo shoot out in the Rockies so there will be plenty of stops for oooing and ahhhhing at the mountains

Event starts Wed's and runs through Sat.

I have 2wks vacation and will be leaving 7/26 for Phoenix and then up through CO via 4 corners to Copper MT in time for MITM. Last few years we did the Copper to STL "cannon ball" drive home on Sunday. Let's Motor, Dan

In that case meet you there and "cannon ball" back. The death march will probably be a little easier if we get a Mini convoy going......."Breaker-Breaker-Minimaniacs comin' up yer backside, come back!"

Yeah, a convoy will make the boring flat part of the trip more tolerable!

 

I would love to go again this year, but not sure with the wife schedual. Her school keeps starting crazy early, and if its like last year it will start the week after MITM, which means she will have to be there a week early for teacher oriantation stuff. She will also be about 5 months pregnent, not sure if she wants to sit in a car for 13 hours to get there. =P

 

I'm gonna go on a limb and guarantee she won't want to ride for 13 hrs when 5 mo's pregnant!

 

We have been to all the MITM events and look forward to this one. One of the best events in the country.
