From somewhat West of y'all, yesterday was such a beautiful day, there wasn't time for a bath. We just had to get out among'st 'em and motor topless. [Smilie of your choice right here]

Hell yes! It was so salty it was a disgrace.....but it was also very foggy out so it was a bit difficult to dry the car off.

Sort of. Gave it a good, solid rinse to get a few layers of winter crud off. Unfortunately (sort of) I was just starting to travel about three hours back home when said rinse happened. By the time I got home, probably only I could tell that it had been cleaned off.

It's a busy week but I'm hoping I can give the MINI a full bath one day soon!

Would have been a waste of time here. Foggy and wet roads. A clean car wouldn't last 10 minutes.

I planning on washing both MINIs tomorrow, mostly sunny and upper 40's, going to be balmy.

Speaking of washing, I washed one of my jackets today, along with the remote from Gimli Discovered in the bottom of the washing machine, after the final rinse Took it out to the car, and all was fine

Was in the low 60s for two days back home, but I wasn't willing to go to the carwash. But...it should be in the upper 40s, so that will be the first wash since purchase!

We used to live in Florissant, but alas we now live Kantucky (yes I intentionally spelled it with an 'a' for effect ). I miss it out there. We still have a lot family in the Granite City area on the other side of the river, and a little bit of family in St. Charles, so we come up there a couple times a year. Where are you at up there?

Grew up in South County (Mehlville) & live in Kirkwood now. You may need to come visit sometime when we are having an event with the MINI Club

Well no one showed up to wash the MINIs Had to do that plus sundry other things. I had neither cold hands, because I used warm water, nor wet feet, because it is not speedo, nor wet t-shirt weather My heart is still beating, so it should be warm

Yep -- needed to get the salt off of him. And, he's getting detailed next week. I can't wait. Of course it's supposed to rain on the detailing day.

Mine stayed in the garage, like it does every day, but disgustingly filthy.

Yes, I think that would be correct It was 31 here in early December and I went to such lengths as wearing mittens with rubber gloves over them to wash my car, lol.
