Lois,

I grew up in south county as well! I actually went to Oakville HS. Worked as a Car Hop at the Lemay Steak & Shake; maybe I brought you your food with my fancy paper hat on!!

QXX got a REAL trip to the quarter car wash yesterday.. Nice and sunny and no rain here in SoCal for a few days coming.. Detailed with MOJO and it still does a great job! Read my review in Alliance this month..

..and it DOES very well with wheel arches even tho Spearsy forgot to add the update from me about that!

Jim

The MINI got a bath yesterday.

It needed it after just rinsing with water at the hand wash during the cold weather.

We just returned from the ssspahhhh and feel so relaxed after a microfibre rubdown and massage. The top is down and the little guy is ready to go get dirty all over again!

I went to the Green Lantern Car Wash off 94 last night! Those guys were crawling around on the inside of the car and rubbing, rubbing, rubbing.....

I eventually thought "hey, kinda getting sensitive!!!"

Mark, That funny guy that shuffles his feet before punching the other guy is GREAT!

As for the car cleaning, I guess you can say I was feeling lazy! That place does a nice cleaning job, but the car drags all the way through the wash!

What, no window tray? We would routinely lose those as well.

Here is what I looked like back then. My number (remember, we would put a number on your car) was 13!

Oh and how! I had my first random orbital buffer when I was 16!!! I actually had about 5-6 neighbors that I would wash their cars for $2.50 each week and they always tipped me a little so that was my gas and _____ money for the week!
