Holiday Lights Rallye

A slow-paced,traveling through some of the best light displays in St Louis.The rallye will be a little different this year Same fun but a new twist This is a joint event with the Gateway Miata Club. Bring a clipboard & pencil for recording answers to the rallye questions. Awards with be given. BEE-THERE OR BEE SQUARE

We will be there again. May not be able to make it back to the house after the drive -- the kids are likely to fall asleep, but we love the drive and will get to see you at the pre-party.

Tomorrow (Fri the 12th) I will look at my work schedule and see if I can get out of there a couple hours early. I think this would be fun!

Rex, it's Saturday the 13th

 

Well, I have enough vacation time that I could leave work early enough to get home, shower and change clothes, then come along. HOWEVER (and there is always a however, in life....Frank O'Pinion), tonight while conducting routine duties (book'm Danno), I tripped over a parking curb and then the base of a handicap parking sign! I was twisting one way and then the other to keep from hitting the pavement. I tweaked my back and work may actually be in question for tomorrow, much less the Holiday Lights Ralley. As my mom says, "It's hell to get old"

I was fine when I did it, but sitting around here at home and it is setting in. I think a night in bed should make my back tighter than the vault at Fort Knox.

Went to bed about 9:30 and by 1:00 AM I woke up hurt'n. Stayed home and a left over muscle relaxer has helped. I will see how it goes.

 

Yeah, I know how it is, I have back issues too at times

Rest up, but remain somewhat active, worst thing for me is not moving around.

Oh, and if you have heated seat in the MINI, they are GREAT for a sore back, hmm... maybe a couple of hours motoring around looking at all the pretty lights would be the best remedy
