Cooler weather is coming our way so of course we are thinking about the Fall Rallye. So save this date!!!!!!!

SATURDAY OCTOBER 20TH

Mark & I are planning an all day drive thru Jefferson County, Ste Genevieve County & then an optional ferry crossing at Ste Gen to the Bluff Rd in Illinois.

Lunch will be a BYOL with a stop at Hawn State Park.

MEET: 9:00AM LEAVE 9:30AM

WHERE: THE PINK ELEPHANT GAS STATION AT HWY 141 & TESSON FERRY/HWY 21

For those of you who do not know where the famous Pink Elephant is located. It is approximately 1/2 way between Arnold & Fenton on Hwy 141. Take whatever route you are familiar with to get to 141. If coming from the north/west it is approximately 2 miles east of HWY 30. If coming from the south/east, it is 1/2 mile west of Tesson Ferry/Hwy 21.

Be sure to pack a lunch as we will be stopping at Hawn State Park.

It varies but our Fall event usually attracts 30+ That's MINIs

I was hoping to make this one especially now that I have my new MINI but I'm going to be in Chicago that weekend.

 

We are going to try to attend this one. Gromit is wanting a road trip and to see other MINIs.

We did the run today Lots of twisties in Jeff County then onto rolling hills & beautiful vistas in St Francois & Ste Genevieve Counties

One of the pups (Sadie) lost her breakfast on a great roller coaster road but she survived and so did we

Can I ask what the route is? I can't go, but I'd like to be able to drive it sometime. Anything that makes a dog barf has got to be fun.

 

Regarding the meeting place... is there an address I can plug into mapquest?

I'm not going to be able to make the run but I'd like to come down and meet everyone before hand to say hi!

 

The route is very detailed. I'm afraid I wouldn't have the time or space to post it here. Perhaps I can scan the route instructions(when I get them printed) & email it to you but then I would need your email address

There is a QT across 141. Their address is 2600 Rt 141 63026. C'mon Mike, do you REALLY not know where the PINK Elephant is?
