Yeah those guys were fast. I think my fastest time was 60.991 or something like that. Had a great time out there though. Being my second AutoX, it was certainly a blast! Can't wait for the next one.

Thanks for rounding up the MINI's! It's great to see more and more MINIs at the autocross. Let's keep this going!

Even though I'm detailing a BMW right now, its hot, so I'm taking frequent breaks and checking the site via my sidekick . =)

I hope there's a cone hidden behind my car, otherwise I was pretty far off the line here. grin:

That is exactly what I thought when I saw it. It could use another cone.

missed it, but...

I really wanted to make it out to the track day on Sunday. Alas, homework prevailed. However, I keep forgetting that my co-worker is a BMWCCA Member and he was out there with you guys (and girls). I don't know what he drives (a... BMW?). He said, "wow- there were a lot of MINIs out there!" and had nothing but great things to say about "the MINI people".

Nice representation! Thought I'd pass that along. maybe the next one...

Add prompt posting of results following the event to the + column for the SD BMWCCA events.

WTF!
We should just bring our own stop watch, cones and find an empty parking lot!

Let's do it!

I broke down and wrote Gio last night. He said as soon as he got the results from timing he would put it on the site.

I wonder if we'll have results up before the weekend?

If only it were that easy.

Our local club has a hard time finding places to run autocrosses. We had an okay site last summer, but they decided they wanted a $2M insurance policy for our events, and we only had a $1M policy.

Our backup site is the local technical college, but we can only use their lot until the kids come back to school.

Seriously, posting times within 2-3 days doesn't seem like too much to ask... a week later..

I just shot Gio another e-mail inquiring about when results would be posted.

...thank goodness next time is in San Diego. If anyone who was at this L.A. event hasn't been to a San Diego BMWCCA event, I would highly encourage you to make the trip down.
