We will definately be there!
We'll be motoring up from San Clemente in a 2002 Liquid Yellow Mini Cooper.
We do have a digital camera and will bring it.
All we need is time & location.
Also, did I read something about tee shirts for the event? Let me know.

Hey, there's the Huntington Beach Concours D'Elegance on June 5th, 2005. MINI's are one of the Marques being "saluted", and there are three categories just for new MINIs. This thing looks like a huge deal, and it's for charity, so check it out.

This thread originally began back in 2002. The people posting were, in actuality, getting owners of the New MINI together for what would turn out to be SCMM.
That's not to say we can't get something going for August 2005! It could be on August 19th, a Friday. We could call it Full Moon MINI/Mini Madness. Imagine crazy clusters of cool clown cars clogging up Pacific Coast Highway in Orange County.

Bring your MINI on Saturday nights now through August 31st! Exit the 101 at Wendy Drive in Newbury Park. It's the shopping center near Target and Home Depot with all the eateries at the Village at Newbury Park Shopping Center. You can't miss it! 5-9 pm! It's like Cruisers, only on Saturday and in Ventura County. Plenty of AWESOME hot rods, classics, and other tricked out cars and trucks to check out. Lots of good food at the eateries in the plaza (Subway, Fan Ting, The Habit, Baja Fresh, Daphne's Greek Cafe, Coldstone Creamery, and more!). Free raffle drawing each week sponsored by the "Octopus 95.9 fm Classic Rock". Bring your MINI to socialize with other MINIs- we can park them all in a row!!!
